Sequel to AIR BASE. The continuation of the military detective mystery set at U-Tapao Royal Thai Naval Air Base, Thailand, right at the end of the Vietnam War. It involves a young US Air Force Security Police officer and his attempt to solve a massive Thai-operated theft ring on the base. Great read especially if you were at U-tapao AFB, Thailand. I was there three years and enjoyed going back in time. Leonard captured what it was like to be at an Air Force base that was winding down from the Vietnam War. Also what it was like being an SP during a very corrupt time when the Thai's were stealing everything that was not nailed down. This book put me through a range of emotions because I had been in the steps of the author at many sites on and off base. His love of one girl really hit home. And you will like his friend Jake and wish we had more like him.Product details
